When in Rome

I am not in Rome. But almost as foreign! I flew out Wednesday to be with my cousin as she prepared to graduate from College on Saturday. We spent the day yesterday doing a first for me, a Cardinal game. My aunt took me to grab a shirt before the game because I didn't have a stitch of red packed...sigh!

These weeks

It's been hit or miss here and the content has been all over the spectrum. When it comes to being a lifestyle blogger I guess that's what you get. Because, that is life. As much as I would give anything to change some of the events over the past month I know God, whose plans prevail, is orchestrating everything perfectly for His glory.

I am so thankful for His timing in all this. He's given and removed at just the right moments and He has given strength, healing, health, and wholeness. So, very thankful.

I am so thankful for my family and each and every part they play. Everyone of them have certain aspects that encourage and build up various parts of each member of the family. God built our family perfectly for our family.

I am thankful for the 3 precious nephews I have waiting for me on the other side of eternity. My arms miss them but my heart joyfully looks forward to the day we meet.

I am thankful for every ministry opportunity floating around me. I know that every day there is a chance for me to be the hands, feet, and mouth of Christ.

I am thankful for the man God has blessed me with and the patience He has. I am thankful for the growth He has grown in both of us and the future he is molding.

I am thankful for the blessings of a weekend away to spend with this wonderful woman and her parents coming up!

I am thankful for a running car in spite of the noises it is making. It gets me from point a. to point b. with little to know issues.

I am thankful for past, present, and future, and the fact that God is in it all. He was the same yesterday that He is today and will be tomorrow. Faithful God, never changing.

I am thankful.

my precious sweet P

Excitement builds
Preparation begins
Fingers drum
Toes tap
Minds race
Hearts dream
Names fly
Love grows
Blood pumps
Cells multiply
A heart beats
Growth comes

Time slows
Words fade
World spins
Tears fall
Hearts break
Plans change
Earth skipped

Sweeter heaven
 Empty hands
Full hearts
Expectant joy

Happy Birthday sweet P! This aunt’s heart will forever long to meet you. Enjoy Jesus, sweet P, you get to meet Him first. Say hello to your cousins and your uncles and aunt. We love you.
