The first of the fourth

July 4th around here tends to be on the bigger end of huge as far as celebrations go! Never dull, full of family and friends, and lots of cookouts!
Our 4th of July weekend started on the 2nd. Usually it begins on the 3rd but this year it started on the 2nd, don't get me started! =) A local buiness holds a celebration for our nation's birthday. Concerts, fireworks, glowsticks, and picnic dinners! We had an unusual sized group this year. Our little circle was busting at the seams!

Seriously, how cute are they?!

We always bring cards and our night is filled with teaching/learning new card games!

Some tickling with the Bubby man!

We even had some friends who are missionaries over seas home and were able to join us!

Towards the end of the night they honor all the branches of the military. In our group alone we had 3 groups represented and 4 men to recognize but the entire lawn was just speckled with standing men and wemon who have served us in some way. Look behind him. Army.

Marines

Standing for her dad in the Air Force. He had to get something from the car but in a group of hundreds there was no quick about it!=)

I'll post more later about the other 3 days!
